Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is a PlayStation 5 title developed by Insomniac Games.
Responsibilities and Experience
As an Associate Game Designer, I belonged to the open-world team.
I was responsible for implementing and polishing ambient life such as traffic, pedestrians, critters, and vignettes.
I implemented traversal markup like ledge-paths, perches, and parkour set-up.
I identified, tracked, and fixed problematic bugs, both in side-content and during golden path missions.
I play-tested and provided feedback.
I added missing accessibility shaders on key items and points of interest
I adjusted levels to make certain encounters that originally had tutorials, flow properly without tutorials
I helped with other overall polish for NG+ implementation such as upgrade progression, suit behaviors in cinematics, etc.
In addition to my main work, I also designed and blocked-out a test level which showcases the use of various game mechanics and systems like unique puzzles and a combat encounter.
